How It Works With Your Drone
Your DJI drone broadcasts its live feed to the RC Plus or RC Plus 2 controller. That controller has the only screen in the standard configuration, which means the pilot is the only one who sees what the drone sees.
The SDR Transmission Combo extends that feed wirelessly. The transmitter takes the feed from the controller's HDMI output and broadcasts it via SDR. The receiver delivers the feed to any monitor with SDI or HDMI input, up to 3 km away. Multiple receivers can monitor the same feed simultaneously for multi-screen command setups.

Real-World Range Expectations
The 3 km rating is measured in open, interference-free conditions. Terrain, buildings, and other 2.4/5.8 GHz devices (Wi-Fi, other drones, comms equipment) reduce effective range. For most command-post applications, with the pilot 100 to 500 meters from the command post, the system delivers reliable performance well within its rated capability.

This is a genuine DJI SDR Wireless Video Transmission Combo sold by Covert Drones, an independent reseller. This system carries DJI's standard manufacturer warranty for video transmission equipment. It is not covered by DJI Enterprise Care or CPS Drone Protection, as those plans apply to DJI aircraft and integrated sensors only.
If your unit arrives defective, contact us within 72 hours of delivery and we'll coordinate a replacement under our DOA policy.
