Matrice 4TD Aircraft + Controller Kit - No Battery

This Matrice 4TD no-battery kit is built for organizations that already own the 4TD platform and do not need another battery package.

It is a practical option for agencies replacing an aircraft, departments adding a second airframe, commercial operators expanding an existing fleet, or buyers who already have compatible 4TD batteries and charging equipment on hand.

Instead of paying for duplicate batteries, this package focuses on the core equipment needed to put another 4TD aircraft into service.

Standard delivery is approximately 5–7 business days. Net 30 available for qualified government agencies and commercial buyers. Questions or need a formal quote? Call (612) 816-0039 or email sales@covertdrones.com.

Best Fit for Existing 4TD Fleets

This configuration is designed for customers who already have compatible 4TD infrastructure.

It makes sense when you need to:

• Replace an aircraft without purchasing another battery set
• Add a backup aircraft for mission continuity
• Expand a public safety or inspection fleet
• Add capacity for a second pilot or team
• Keep spare aircraft inventory available for critical operations
• Avoid duplicating charging equipment already in service

For larger organizations, this can be a cleaner way to scale a drone program because batteries and charging equipment can remain standardized across the fleet.

Multi-Mission Thermal Platform

The Matrice 4TD combines thermal imaging, optical cameras, laser ranging, RTK positioning, and advanced obstacle sensing in one aircraft.

That makes it useful across a wide range of operations, including:

• Law enforcement
• Fire response
• Search and rescue
• Deer and wildlife recovery
• Utility work
• Industrial inspections
• Solar operations
• Emergency management
• Roof and infrastructure inspection
• Commercial thermal services

The IP55-rated airframe also gives operators added flexibility in dusty, damp, and changing field environments.

Camera System

The aircraft includes a 640 × 512 thermal camera for detecting heat differences, along with wide, medium telephoto, and telephoto visual cameras for additional confirmation and detail.

The 168mm-equivalent telephoto camera supports observation from a greater distance, while the integrated laser rangefinder can measure targets up to approximately 1,800 meters.

This combination allows one aircraft to handle thermal search, visual confirmation, ranging, and documentation without swapping payloads.
