We are a U.S.-based, independent drone retailer serving customers nationwide and internationally.
Product Authenticity & Activation
Are your drones authentic DJI products?
Yes. All drones sold by Covert Drones are genuine DJI products.
Units are unused, unflown, and shipped in original condition.
Why are your drones activated before shipment?
We complete universal global activation prior to shipment to ensure:
• Proper regional compatibility
• Successful configuration
• Worldwide functionality
Although the unit may appear “activated,” it has zero flight hours and no battery cycles.
Activation does not affect your ability to register or operate the drone.
Are you an authorized DJI dealer?
Covert Drones is an independent U.S. reseller and is not affiliated with or endorsed by DJI or its authorized distribution network.
Warranty, Repairs & Support
Is DJI Enterprise Care included?
No. Due to global activation status, these units are not eligible for DJI Enterprise Care or DJI’s U.S.-based manufacturer warranty.
However, DJI can still perform paid repairs on these units.
If a repair is required:
• DJI determines repair cost
• DJI determines approval
• DJI determines turnaround time
• Repair fees are paid directly to DJI
We assist customers by submitting and coordinating repair claims when needed.
What if my drone arrives defective?
We guarantee your drone will not arrive dead-on-arrival (DOA).
If your unit is non-functional upon delivery, notify us within 48 hours and we will coordinate a replacement or repair at no cost to you.
Do you provide support after purchase?
Yes.
We provide lifetime support for:
• Setup and configuration
• Accessory compatibility
• Firmware guidance
• Troubleshooting
• Repair coordination
We are here long after checkout.
Shipping & Delivery
How long does shipping take?
Processing Time: 1–2 business days
U.S. Delivery: Typically 3–7 business days
International Delivery: Typically 7–14 business days
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays or customs processing.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship internationally to most countries.
International customers are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, or carrier fees required by their country.
Do shipments require a signature?
Yes. All drone shipments require signature confirmation upon delivery.
Once a package is marked delivered by the carrier, responsibility transfers to the customer.
Why hasn’t my tracking updated?
Tracking may take 24–48 hours to appear after shipment.
Delays may occur due to:
• Carrier scanning delays
• Long-haul transit
• Weather
• Customs processing
If tracking does not update for several days, contact us.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return window for unused items.
To qualify:
• Drone must be unused
• Zero flight hours
• No battery cycles
• All original packaging and components included
• Proof of purchase required
Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery.
What items cannot be returned?
• Used or flown drones
• Customized or modified items
• Final sale items
• Gift cards
Who pays return shipping?
Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived defective or incorrect.
We recommend insured, trackable shipping for all returns.
How long do refunds take?
Once received, returns are inspected within 3 business days.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Banks may take 5–10 business days to reflect the refund.
Government & Agency Sales
Do you accept Purchase Orders (POs)?
Yes.
We accept official Purchase Orders from verified government agencies and public institutions.
To process a PO, we require:
• Official agency-issued PO on department letterhead
• Billing address
• Shipping address
• Tax exemption certificate (if applicable)
• Authorized purchasing contact name, phone number, and email

How are government POs verified?
For security and fraud prevention, all Purchase Orders are verified prior to order confirmation.
Verification may include:
• Confirming agency contact information
• Validating procurement officer credentials
• Confirming PO authenticity through publicly listed agency contact channels
Orders will not ship until verification is complete.
Do you provide formal quotes?
Yes.
If your agency requires a formal quote, please email us with:
• Requested products
• Configuration details
• Quantity
• Shipping address
• Billing address
• Contact information
We will provide a written quote for review.
Once a confirmed Purchase Order is received and verified, we will send an official Order Confirmation and proceed with fulfillment.
Are government purchases tax-exempt?
Tax-exempt agencies must provide a valid tax exemption certificate prior to order processing.
Sales tax will otherwise be calculated automatically at checkout.

Why was my credit card authorized multiple times?
If checkout is attempted multiple times or billing details fail validation, your bank may place temporary authorization holds.
These are not charges and typically release within 2–7 business days depending on your bank.
