The DJI Zenmuse H30T combines thermal imaging, wide-angle observation, powerful zoom, laser ranging, and near-infrared illumination in one stabilized camera payload.
Add it to your DJI Matrice 400 to build a system for search and rescue, public safety, firefighting support, wildlife observation, or infrastructure inspection. Operators can use thermal imaging to locate heat signatures, then switch to visible imagery to examine the scene in more detail.

Five Integrated Sensors

Thermal camera: 1280 × 1024 resolution with temperature measurement capabilities.

Zoom camera: 40MP imaging with up to 34× hybrid optical zoom and 400× maximum zoom.

Wide-angle camera: 48MP imaging for broader scene coverage.

Laser rangefinder: Measures distances up to 3,000 m under specified conditions.

NIR auxiliary light: Supports compatible nighttime imaging modes.
Thermal and Visible Observation
Thermal and visible cameras serve different purposes in the field. Thermal imagery helps operators locate temperature differences, while wide-angle and zoom views provide context for assessing what they see.
For search teams, that means a way to investigate a potential heat signature. For inspectors, it provides complementary views when documenting equipment or structures.
Thermal detection does not guarantee identification. Results depend on distance, weather, obstructions, and temperature contrast.
Zoom and Nighttime Imaging
The H30T provides linked visible and thermal zoom, Night Scene modes, and electronic dehazing. Digital zoom enlarges the image and does not provide the same detail as optical magnification.
The integrated NIR light supports camera observation. It is not a substitute for a visible scene-illumination spotlight.
Stabilized Enterprise Payload
A three-axis gimbal supports stable observation and recording. The H30T weighs approximately 920 g, carries an IP54 rating, and operates from -4°F to 122°F (-20°C to 50°C) within DJI’s specified conditions.
Aircraft Compatibility
Confirm aircraft and controller firmware compatibility before installation. This payload is not for the Matrice 4T, 4E, 4D, or 4TD.
