Matrice 4 Thermal Police Public Safety Kit

The Matrice 4 Thermal Public Safety Kit is built for law enforcement, fire departments, search and rescue teams, and emergency management agencies that need thermal search capability, aerial illumination, and airborne communication in one package.

This kit includes four flight batteries, the AL1 Spotlight, and the AS1 Speaker. Whether crews are searching for a missing person, monitoring a perimeter, or broadcasting evacuation instructions, this combination supports nighttime operations and communication with people on the ground.

Four included batteries allow crews to rotate batteries between flights and support extended deployments. The spotlight helps illuminate areas of interest, while the speaker allows the pilot to deliver instructions from the aircraft.

AL1 Spotlight + AS1 Speaker Included

AL1 Spotlight
Provides aerial illumination for nighttime searches, perimeter operations, scene assessment, and low-light response. Crews can use the spotlight to illuminate an area of interest after locating a potential subject with the aircraft’s cameras.

AS1 Speaker
Adds airborne voice communication for missing-person searches, evacuation instructions, suspect communication, and emergency response. Teams can communicate with people on the ground while maintaining an aerial view of the scene.

Together, these accessories help crews locate, illuminate, and communicate during active operations.

Four-Battery Field Package

This package includes four Matrice 4 Series flight batteries total, providing additional battery rotations for searches, incident response, and multi-flight missions.

The aircraft uses one flight battery at a time and offers up to 49 minutes of rated flight time per battery under manufacturer test conditions. Actual flight time will vary with the spotlight and speaker installed, weather, flight behavior, and required landing reserves.

The included multi-battery charging hub helps manage charging between deployments.

Built for Public Safety Missions

The Matrice 4 Thermal combines a 640 × 512 thermal camera with wide, medium tele, and telephoto visual cameras. Crews can locate heat signatures in darkness and then use the visual cameras for additional identification and scene awareness.

The integrated laser rangefinder measures distance to targets up to approximately 1,800 meters, while the NIR auxiliary light supports low-light visual operations.
