The Matrice 4 Thermal Deer Recovery Kit is built for hunters, wildlife recovery operators, and Part 107 pilots who need to cover ground after dark and locate animals that are difficult to see from the ground.
The 640 × 512 thermal camera helps identify heat signatures in fields, woods, brush, and low-light conditions. Once a possible target is located, the visual cameras and laser rangefinder help confirm what you found and mark the recovery location.
Every configuration includes four flight batteries and the AL1 Spotlight. A second option adds a 17.3-inch portable 4K HDR monitor for a larger live view at the truck, field edge, or recovery site.

The core recovery setup. Four batteries give you more flexibility for long searches, multiple properties, or repeated flights. Once the animal is located, the aircraft-mounted spotlight can help illuminate the recovery area.

Adds a portable 17.3-inch 4K HDR field monitor so a second person, landowner, hunter, or recovery partner can watch the live aircraft feed while the pilot stays focused on flying.
The monitor is housed in a rugged portable case and can be used from a truck, staging area, or field edge.
Built for Thermal Deer Recovery
Recovery work often means checking large areas, multiple heat signatures, heavy cover, or several properties in one night.
The 640 × 512 thermal camera is designed to reveal heat signatures during nighttime and low-light searches. The wide, medium tele, and telephoto cameras provide additional visual detail before ground crews move in.
The integrated laser rangefinder can measure and mark targets at distances up to approximately 1,800 meters, helping the pilot relay a more precise location to the recovery team.
Four Batteries for Longer Searches
Each battery is rated for up to 49 minutes of flight time under ideal conditions. Actual flight time varies based on wind, temperature, speed, and landing reserve.
Four batteries give recovery operators a practical field rotation when a search takes longer than expected or several locations need to be checked.

Coverage and Protection
Every aircraft ships unused with zero flight hours. We activate and inspect each unit before shipment.
Because these aircraft are activated prior to resale, they are not eligible for Enterprise Care or the manufacturer's U.S. warranty. Paid manufacturer repair service may still be available.
If an aircraft arrives defective, contact us within 72 hours of delivery for assistance under our DOA policy.
